Dial-A-Ride


The City operates a local origin-to-destination Dial-A-Ride program for passengers who hold an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) card or are 65 years of age or older. Customers can use Dial-A-Ride to do errands, go shopping, or to get to medical appointments.

ECTA CONNECT InterCity Dial-A-Ride is a separate, shared-ride transportation service available in most of the eastern Ventura County and is specifically designed to permit travel outside local Dial-A-Ride service areas.

LOCAL DAR FARE

The fare for local DAR is $4.00 each way. Exact change is required as drivers do not carry cash. Trip tickets are available at the following locations:

  1. Thousand Oaks Transportation Center, 265 S. Rancho Road
  2. Goebel Adult Community Center, 1385 E. Janss Road
  3. City Hall Finance Customer Service, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., 2nd floor

ADA Cards

To use the service, you must have a county-issued ADA card or be a senior 65 years of age or older. An ADA card is issued to individuals with qualifying disabilities.
