Community Grant Programs
The City of Thousand Oaks offers four (4) Community Grants throughout each fiscal year - Community Events Grant (CEG), and Community Social Services Grant (CSSG), Community Sports Grant (CSG), and Community Environmental Enhancement Grant (CEEG). The anticipated application period and grant criteria for each grant type is provided below.

Federal Funds
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
CDBG provides Federal funds for community development projects and public/social services that primarily benefit lower-income households. The City of Thousand Oaks receives an annual entitlement in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These federal funds are used for community development projects and public/social services that primarily benefit lower-income households.
