Highlights of this past year 2025-26

During the 2025–26 term, Youth Commissioners engaged with a wide range of community leaders, City staff, and representatives from the Conejo Valley Unified School District.

This year, commissioners led the planning and implementation of the Youth Leadership Summit, helped lead and participate in Coastal Clean-Up Day, and YouthTree Planting Day. Commissioners also partnered with the City of Thousand Oaks Public Works Department to bring youth and families together for a tree planting event, resulting in 14 new trees along Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Via Merida. The photos below showcase the Commissioners’ dedicated work and impact throughout the year.
