The Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Department comprises four divisions: Economic Development, Public Information, Intergovernmental Relations, and TOTV/Cable Services. The Department communicates general information, critical updates, and the City Council's goals and priorities to City residents. Staff leverages innovative and creative techniques to engage and inform Thousand Oaks residents while maintaining a commitment to ethical and transparent communication practices.


The department manages the City's website, social media channels, and media relations.
