ECTA CONNECT
ECTA CONNECT City-to-City Dial-A-Ride offers shared transportation across eastern Ventura County, enabling travel beyond local service areas.
East County Transit Alliance (ECTA)
CONNECT City-to-City Dial-A-Ride service is provided by the cities of Moorpark, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura County and offers convenient travel across eastern Ventura County and surrounding areas. This service covers unincorporated areas serviced by Thousand Oaks, plus Oak Park, Westlake Village, Camarillo, Somis, Santa Rosa Valley, Agoura Hills, and the CSUCI campus. ECTA CONNECT also links to other transit providers, including Gold Coast Transit’s GO ACCESS and LA Access Service, simplifying regional travel for seniors and ADA passengers.

Fares and tickets
Effective January 1st, 2025, a one-way fare for ECTA Connect City-to-City Dial-A-Ride is $8. Previously purchased $6 tickets will continue to be accepted until further notice.
CONNECT fares are $8.00 one-way, regardless of distance traveled.
Passengers may be accompanied by one companion; Companions must pay the full fare. Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) with ADA endorsement ride at no additional charge.
Exact change is required, or a pre-paid ticket is accepted. Drivers do not carry cash and are prohibited from accepting tips.
Pre-paid tickets are available at Thousand Oaks City Hall or the Thousand Oaks Transportation Center.

ECTA Connect Dial-A-Ride App

The ECTA Connect Dial-A-Ride app is a new way to reserve your ride! Simply download the app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, create an account, select your origin and destination, and select a trip time that suits your schedule. Through the app, you can track your vehicle in real-time and modify your trip if needed. Notifications regarding your trip will be sent through SMS text messages and telephone.
Reservations

Booking Requirements:
To ensure your requested time is available advanced reservations can be made 24 hours before your trip, up two weeks in advance. Reservations may be booked same day up to two hours before your trip, but same day trips are not guaranteed.
When booking trips with transfers to neighboring services, rides must be booked by calling the reservation line no later than 4:30 pm. the day prior.
Provide When Booking:
- Exact origin and destination addresses.
- ADA Card Number (if applicable).
- Desired pick-up times (alternate times may be negotiated).
Notify Us If:
- Traveling with a mobility device.
- Accompanied by a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or companion.
Transfers

Transfers must be booked by calling the reservation line at (805) 375-5467.
Trips to Western Ventura County:
We arrange connections to the GO ACCESS service area via the Camarillo transfer point. Service available Monday-Saturday.
To Los Angeles County (ADA only)
We assist with transfers for trips to the LA ACCESS service area via the Transportation Center. Users must provide their LA ACCESS identification when booking to complete the reservation on your behalf. Service available Monday-Friday.
Additional fares may apply for transfers.
No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy

Please call by 7:30 p.m. the day before to cancel any scheduled ride that is no longer required. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in suspended reservation privileges.
