THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., August 31, 2026 — The City of Thousand Oaks is accepting applications for the 2026-27 Community Sports Grant (CSG) Program from August 31, 2026 – October 1, 2026.
The CSG provides funding to eligible nonprofit community and school groups, including booster organizations, for projects that improve local sports programs. Grant funds may be used to update sports facilities or purchase equipment that enhances a sports program.
CSG awards range from a minimum of $2,000 to a maximum of $10,000 and require a 100% funding match. Approved projects must be completed between January 1 and December 31, 2027.
Ineligible expenses include personal equipment such as uniforms, grant activity administration, and general organizational overhead.
Community Grant Program guidelines are available at www.toaks.gov/grants. The CSG application will be available beginning August 31, 2026. CSG applications must be submitted by email only to TOgrants@toaks.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
