THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., July 15, 2025-LibCon, Thousand Oaks Library’s free and open to all two-day celebration of comics, anime, and pop culture, returns for its third year on Saturday, August 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Inspired by large national conventions, attendees can enjoy Artist Alley, cosplay, a video game tournament, food trucks, and a wide range of engaging programs, including hands-on workshops, crafts, and featured author events. This year’s featured speakers are two remarkable creators who explore storytelling across genres and generations: Tananarive Due, author of the award-winning novelThe Reformatory, and Kim Dwinell, author and illustrator of the Surfside Girls graphic novel series. Comics Drawing Workshop with Kim Dwinell
