La Granada Reservoir Tank Improvements

Construction has been completed at the La Granada Reservoir Tank.


The project improved the structural integrity of the reservoir by removing corrosion, performing structural repairs, recoating the interior and exterior of the tank, building a secondary connection of the tank to the new pump station, and constructing seismic retrofits. Additionally, the new interior and exterior coating improved overall water quality by preventing future corrosion.


Timeline and Funding

The project began in June 2024 and was completed in May 2025.


The project cost of $2.5M was funded by Water Enterprise Funds.

Project Benefits

The Public Works Department of the City of Thousand Oaks will be rehabilitating the existing 3.9MG steel water by removing and replacing the interior and exterior coating and performing structural repairs and other miscellaneous improvements.
