Special Note to CVUSD Schools/ School Booster Clubs
1) For Grant Applications, the City and CVUSD have the following instructions on when the Booster Club or the School should apply:
- When the project/program/event is put on by the booster club itself, then the booster club will be the grant applicant. The grant agreement will be between the City and the Booster Club. The Booster Club will provide insurance. Example: The High School Dance Booster Club puts on/ hosts an entire competition.
- When the project/program/event is “on behalf of a team/school” then the Booster Club will work with the school administration/ CVUSD to complete this application. The School will be the applicant on behalf of the Booster Club. The grant agreement will be between the City and CVUSD/the school on behalf of the Booster Club. Examples: The High School Tennis Booster Club proposes to refurbish the Courts, the High School Track & Field Booster Club proposes to replace needed sports equipment, or the High School Dance Booster proposes to use grant funds to pay the competition entry fee for the dance team to compete. The appropriate Director of School, School Principal, and an authorized representative from the Booster club will be required to sign.
