The City of Thousand Oaks will be offering four Community Grants throughout fiscal year 2026-27.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., January 26, 2026—The City of Thousand Oaks will be offering four Community Grants throughout fiscal year 2026-27. A grant workshop will be held for those interested in applying:

The four grants will be offered throughout the fiscal year are as follows:

Community Grant

Community Sports Grant (CSG)

September - October 2026

Community Environmental Enhancement Grant (CEEG)

Applications must be submitted by e-mail toTOGrants@toaks.govduring the application period. Applications submitted outside the application period will not be considered. Applications will be reviewed by the Council-appointed Community Funding Review Committee, who will make funding recommendations to City Council for approval.


Community Events Grant

The City of Thousand Oaks is accepting applications for the FY 2026-27 Community Events Grant Program.

The Community Events Grant (CEG) provides grant opportunities to local nonprofit organizations for community visual or performing arts and/or cultural programs/projects/events. All programs/projects/events must take place within the City boundaries, except for local school competition performances while representing the City of Thousand Oaks.

Some of the projects previously funded through this grant program include school band competitions, open-space trail education events, performances at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center or at other locations throughout the community, or similar visual or performing arts or cultural programs, projects, or events.

All CEG programs/projects/events must take place and be completed between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. The current grant award limits require a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $9,000. This grant requires 100% matching funds. If the grant is for a team competition, it cannot be for more than $100 per team member.
