Native Plantpalooza & Eco Fest is a free, family-friendly outdoor event where the Conejo Valley community can learn about native plants, water-wise gardening, and sustainable living.

On Saturday, October 11th, Conejo Open Space Foundation (COSF) will host its fourth annual Native Plantpalooza & Eco Fest. This free family event will be held at Conejo Creek North Park (1379 E. Janss Rd.) Lakeside Pavilion area in Thousand Oaks from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and will feature dozens of eco-themed exhibitors, including native plant vendors, beekeepers, wildlife rehab specialists, and herpetologists.

Attendees will learn about native plants, water-wise gardening, and tips on living more sustainably, while kids can learn about plants and animals and what they can do to help the environment. Over 35 exhibitors will have fun, creative activities for children, including microscope explorations, touch-and-talk tables about wildlife, plus coloring and crafts like bracelet-making. Exhibitors will also have native plants and other eco-related goodies for sale, as well as plenty of giveaways and swag.

Exhibitors include the California Wildlife Center, Citizens Climate Lobby, Food Forward, Southwestern Herpetologists Society, Theodore Payne Foundation Nursery, Conejo Valley Audubon Society, Conejo Valley Garden Club, the National Wildlife Federation (representing the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing), and many more.

Attendees who pre-register and donate to support COSF are eligible to receive a free drought-tolerant plant. Click HERE to register.
