Arbor Earth Day Celebration Coming April 19th

Come join us on Saturday, April 19^th from 10am – 2pm for the City’s annual Arbor Earth Day Celebration at the Thousand Oaks Community Center Park located at 2525 N. Moorpark Road, next to Thousand Oaks High School. This springtime community tradition is a free family-friendly event that will include electric vehicles on display, kids’ activities, live music, a plant giveaway, and free compost available. There will be giveaways, raffles, and more!

A variety of non-profit and environmentally-focused exhibitors will be participating in the event. With the growing popularity and availability of electric vehicles, EV Advocates of Ventura County will host an electric vehicle display where EV owners will display their vehicles and be available to answer your questions and provide first-hand experience and insight into EV ownership.

The City’s waste hauler, Athens Services, will be available to answer questions about trash, recycling and organics services and will be giving away free compost!

Kids’ activities will include a bicycle safety course and helmet giveaway, recycled arts/crafts activities, recycling games, and more.

Have an unwanted bike lying around at home? Conejo Recreation and Park District will be collecting used bicycles for donation to underserved youth in the Conejo Valley.
