The City of Thousand Oaks Welcomes New Human Resources Director

After a highly competitive search, the City of Thousand Oaks is excited to announce Jeanette Green's appointment as the new Human Resources Director.

With over a decade of comprehensive experience in human resources and local government management, Ms. Green joins us from her role as Chief Human Resources Officer for Loudoun County Government, where she has made significant contributions since 2012.

In her capacity at Loudoun County, Ms. Green has overseen the Department of Human Resources, chaired the County Administrator’s Internal Operations Committee, played a central role in collective bargaining efforts, andprovided oversight of the County’s Office of Equity and Inclusion


On the news of her appointment, Ms. Green stated, "I am honored to have been selected as the City's next HR Director. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the City's impressive list of initiatives while ensuring we continue to attract and retain top talent. I look forward to joining this incredible team and making a positive and meaningful impact on our community."


Ms. Green is a licensed attorney in Maryland and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law, as well as completing numerous certifications and focused training programs. She will join the City effective February 10, 2025.
