Extended Service Hours Now Available at Newbury Park Library

The Thousand Oaks Library is thrilled to announce the expansion of weekly service hours at the Newbury Park Library with an additional 5.5 hours through Self-Service Access.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., February 10, 2025 -The Thousand Oaks Library is thrilled to announce the expansion of weekly service hours at the Newbury Park Library with an additional 5.5 hours through Self-Service Access. 


This convenient feature allows patrons aged 18 and older with a valid library card to access the library lobby outside of regular staffed hours. From 9:05 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday through Saturday, visitors can enjoy amenities such as Wi-Fi, wireless printing, collaborative workspaces, and the Honor Books Collection—all by simply scanning their library card for entry. 


Getting started is quick and easy: simply complete the online orientation and visit the library to sign the Self-Service Access agreement in person. Explore this exciting new service and take advantage of extended library access. For more information, visit tolibrary.org/selfservice
