The City of Thousand Oaks is currently seeking applicants who are interested in serving on the Council on Aging.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., March 24, 2026—The City of Thousand Oaks is currently seeking applicants who are interested in serving on the Council on Aging.


Council on Aging serves as City ambassadors on matters concerning the City's older adults.


The Council on Aging consists of nine (9) members who serve two-year, staggered terms. Additional Council on Aging information can be found at www.toaks.gov/olderadults.


There are four (4) total vacancies on the Council on Aging with terms to July 2028. Applicants must be City residents and 60 years of age or older.


Applications are due by April 23, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

All applicants will be invited to interview as part of the standard review process.
