City Opens Recruitment for the Conejo Open Space Trails Action Committee

The Conejo Open Space Trails Action Committee (COSTAC) acts in a supporting role to the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA), under the direction of COSCA staff.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., February 25, 2025- The Conejo Open Space Trails Action Committee (COSTAC) acts in a supporting role to the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA), under the direction of COSCA staff. Committee members provide support for, and may participate in, the volunteer programs approved by the COSCA Board of Directors and may also assist with trail construction and maintenance.


The committee consists of 11 members and up to four alternate members. Residency within the City limits or the Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) boundary is not required. Interviews are tentatively planned for April, and appointments will be made in May. Regular members serve three-year terms while alternate members serve one-year terms. Appointments are made by the COSCA Board of Directors.


There are currently four (4) scheduled regular member vacancies (terms to May 2028) and up to four (4) alternate member vacancies (terms to May 2026).


Applications are due by March 27, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
