Thousand Oaks’ Economic Development (ED) Division is based within the City Manager’s Office. Economic Development staff work to foster economic activity and advance the economic vibrancy and sustainability of our City, upholding and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

ED offers concierge services for existing and prospective businesses to assist with needs such as site selection, development process navigation, and permit information.


Through partnerships with our local business community organizations, ED staff can also help connect businesses with various resources, such as financing, legal services, mentoring, marketing and branding, and training.
