Maintenance Hole Rehabilitation Project

The project involves rehabilitating 23 maintenance holes affected by significant root intrusion, groundwater infiltration, and deterioration, all of which require refurbishment. The maintenance holes are located on private properties and in various street right-of-ways throughout the City.
This project will prevent further deterioration of the collection system, reduce groundwater infiltration, and avoid more expensive rehabilitation in the future. Other benefits include extending the life of the City’s wastewater collection system.

Project Funding
A construction contract has been awarded to Ayala Engineering, Inc., Anaheim, CA, in the amount of $197,465.00. The project is funded by the Wastewater Fund Capital Budget.
Project Impacts
Some streets may have a partial lane closure during construction. Businesses and residents within the vicinity of the construction area are advised to observe all safety signs posted at the construction zones.
