Trails near the project are closed due to construction traffic.

Timeline and Funding

The project began in June 2024 and will be completed in March 2025. Work hours will be between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Should work be required to be performed on a Saturday, advance notice will be given to residents. All work will be limited to the reservoir property.

The project will cost $2.5M and be funded by Water Enterprise Funds

Project Benefits

The project will improve the structural integrity of the reservoir by removing corrosion, performing structural repairs, recoating the interior and exterior of the tank, building a secondary connection of the tank to the new pump station, and constructing seismic retrofits. Additionally, the new interior and exterior coating will improve overall water quality by preventing future corrosion.
